Harry Edward Styles, known in the world of music by the name of Harry Styles, is a British composer and performer who is regarded as being a part of the group One Direction. His parents were Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles was born on 1st February 1994, in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School which is where he formed his own band, composed of three classmates, which was named White Eskimo. They won the Battle of Bands in 2009, thanks to their outstanding performances. Although he has always shown interest in music he also wanted to be an attorney or an physiotherapist. As a worker in the city's pastry shop, Harry Styles was able to provide for his family. Harry Styles, in 2010 was a contestant on The X Factor. His track Is not She Lovely was performed by Stevie Wonder. The group was then forced to split up because of this. Nicole Scherzinger told Harry Styles, Liam Payne Zayn Milik Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson that they'd be forming a group named One Direction after the X The X. The creation of the group began in 2010 and the five members were supported by Simon Cowell. The group played songs, such as My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart from Bonnie Tyler so the group were among the hopefuls for the prize.
