Lucy Liu is an American actress voice actress director producer and singer. As an intelligent and attractive actor, Lucy Liu acts as a role model to numerous Asian actors in Hollywood that want to be successful. After a series of initial performances in popular shows her fame was boosted by joining the team of the legal comedy show Ally McBeal where she played the sly Ling Woo. In the wake of a rapid rise in her popularity, she got roles on the big screen like Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. She delivered a stunning performance as Japanese O-Ren, a gangster from Japan (Quentin Tarantino) in Kill Bill Volume 1 by Quentin Tarantino. Around the same time she was playing lead roles in some box office failures such as Rise: Blood Hunter. In animated films like Kung Fu Panda, Tinker Bell as well as others, she voiced prominent characters. Mia Mason, in Cashmere Mafia and other small screen roles failed to bring her much success.
