Fawn Mckay

Fawn McKay Brodie was born in Ogden Utah on September 15 1915. Fawn is a member of the Mormon Church's oldest family, combined her literary talents and exceptional research abilities to create a stunning biography of Joseph Smith. No Man knew My History appeared in 1945. This title is derived from a funeral sermon delivered by the founder of the Church of Latter-Day Saints in 1844, when he shocked the congregation with his words: You don't know me you never knew my heart. No one knows about my past. My history is not known by anyone. Fawn was a 29-year-old Fawn. From that point there have been at least three writers who have risen to the task. Many have mocked and denigrated the man, and others have tried to pinpoint the cause. The problem isn't that there aren't enough documents however they're wildly divergent. In order to assemble these documents- to separate first hand stories from plagiarism by third parties, and then fit Mormon and non Mormon stories together to form a credible mosaic is no simple job. It is both exciting and informative. FawnBrodie devoted herself to the career path. Thaddeus S. Stevens was immortalized by her work and the fruits of her studies. The Scourge of the south (1959) The Devil Drives. Thomas Jefferson. A personal history of Richard Nixon (1974) as also posthumously Richard Nixon.
